Places + Photography: Incredible Aurora Display in Norway

Lights danced as a solar storm was triggered by a coronal mass ejection (CME). A CME is a cloud of superheated gas and charged particles hurled off the sun. These photos were taken as sky watchers witnessed this breath-taking phenomenon last month in the Lyngan Alps of Norway.
