It is that time of the year in Japan when cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

From the website that documents and forecasts the cherry blooming,

Springtime in Japan is nothing less than magical. From late March to mid-April or even early May, the country’s iconic sakura (cherry blossoms) capture the attention of visitors and locals alike as their beautiful pink flowers blanket the country in soft, colorful splendor.

Two photos that caught our attention are these taken over a river in Japan. Not sure if they are of the same location, but both are beautiful nonetheless.
