I agree with you, Elizabeth, too many real estate shows. And, you can only watch so many redo your bathroom segments too!!!I Also like Disigned to Sell, Design on a Dime, Color Splash, and Curb Appeal. They used to have several craft shows like Carol Duvall, etc. and I loved those. I even emailed them to let them know to put them back on, but did not hear anththing back...

I loved the Carol Duvall show. I learned to make these cute purses from that show! I am a fan on the HGTV Facebook page. We are not alone....many people complain about the real estate shows. Twice I commented on my desire for a change in programming and I got a dozen "likes" both times.

Agree with you, Elizabeth, on your favorite shows and too many real estate shows. HGTV & DIY used to carry creative craft/art shows and have dropped them. I wrote a couple times about reintroducing them, but no response so far.

One of my favorites was one that I think only lasted one season. I can't remember the name of it but it was decorating without actually spending any money. The designers used what was already in the room and found elsewhere in the house to redo the room they were decorating. I loved that it showed what a big difference there could be by just rearranging things. And best of all, you don't need to spend money to update a room that way.
