Captivating Fukita Pavilion by Ryue Nishizawa That Literally Brings You Closer to Nature

Japanese architect Ryue Nishizawa literally brings you closer to nature with his ‘Fukita Pavilion’ in Kagawa, Japan. Built among the trees in the middle of the city’s residential area, the structure offers an intimate connection with the environment. It is composed of two sweeping curved planes that are pierced by a single tree that runs through the floor and roof surfaces.
