Eco-friendly + Smart Student Unit by Tengbom Architects

Swedish studio Tengbom Architects has created the Smart Student Unit project. This eco-friendly, affordable and 10 square meter ‘portable dorm’ was built for the students University of Lund in Sweden. According to Tengbom Architects, ‘ A first prototype of student housing was developed in collaboration with students in 2012 and is now out on Virserums Konsthall.Next year is 22 student apartments ready for occupancy in Lund.’   Photos by Bertil Hertzberg
