London-based digital fabrication and architecture specialist Facit homes collaborated with Danish architects to build a two bedroom home. Not just your ordinary home, its parts are from a rapid-prototyping machine. Think of it like walking into a store, choose parts of a house, piece it all together and voila, you have your new home ready.
Anyway, this partnership produced a project called Villa Asserbo. It measures 1,250 square foot and was built from fabricated Nordic plywood components. Each piece is numbered to guide you in assembling it together. While it may seem a quick fabrication, the house took six week to finish.
