Interlaced wooden beams shows both awesome craftsmanship at the same time adds sturdiness to the structure. This newly opened Starbucks in Fukuoka is a breakaway from its usual design. Japanese architect Kengo Kuma aimed to pay homage to a nearby shrine by implementing some local characteristics in this particular design project.

this is a good example of franchised shops at least having its own individuality. they should have do more of it.
