In Rotterdam, The Netherlands, you would find a unique house called ‘Parksite’, a former ambulance garage designed by Doepel Strijkers and LEX Architects. What makes this home fabulous is the dugout in the middle of the building, composed of custom-made cupboard, kitchen and stairs finished in bright orange polyurethane. A polycarbonate lightbox with integrated LED lights houses the bedrooms and spans the space above the living-kitchen.
