Stork Nest Farm was designed by SGL Projekt and completed in 2010. It was built to accomodate hotel, conference and leisure facilities. The eye-catching nest inspired design you see is the riding arena that also serves as a venue for conferences.
The stork nest on the top of the distillery´s chimney with its nearly 90-year history gave the complex its name and widely influenced the process of forming the horse-riding arena.
It became a symbol of the symbiosis between man and animal, or (if you like) the client´s company – specialized i.e. in manufacturing natural products – and nature.
