Love walking amongst nature? You’ll definitely enjoy the Out on a Limb Tree Canopy Walk. Inside a 92 acre forest is a 450-foot long and 50 feet above ground meandering walkways and suspended bridges so you get to relish view from tree top. Designed by Metcalfe Architecture & Design located in the Morris Arboretum at the University of Pennsylvania.
It is one of the few and among the most elaborate of tree canopy walks in North America. The design is exciting and sustainable. Metcalfe balanced perceived danger, actual safety, beautiful materials, and real trees to create a playful learning experience about the forest.
