Magma Arquitectura have designed the House V located in Costa Brava, Girona, a city in the northeast of Catalonia in Spain.
This 500 square meter multi-family home with garage and a view deck pool was completed in 2011.

House V is located next to a bay on the Costa Brava. On a plot of steep slope, a perimeter wall stone raw quarry blocks sits a Mediterranean garden.
Above it, the main floor is raised to maximum height permitted for the views and skyline released, becoming a large horizontal platform.
The house is divided into two bodies, hosting the bedroom area and the living area respectively, divided by a strip which houses and stair access. The platform extends the house on a large terrace which houses the pool gets the sun in the south and west fly on views of the bay, as if floating on the sea. Media cantilevered terrace is covered, the other half has a laminated wooden porches that allow fully cover with large awnings.
The house walls and ceilings coated in black and is paved, except in the wood platform on the terrace completely in stone, as reinterpretation of Mediterranean home is.
