re-visualization

I’ve seen Newton’s Executive Ball Clicker in movies and probably in real life as far as I can remember. But said version, which demonstrates Newton’s Cradle, features only five balls. This time, art student Yasutoki Kariya re-visualized the device and made his own adaptation using eleven computer-programmed incandescent light bulbs hung from strips. Kariya named his installation Asobi which means play in Japanese.
