She took 100,000 photographs, of people and cityscapes. Of France, where she grew up, and mostly Chicago where she worked for about 40 years as a nanny. Her photographs remained unknown and mostly undeveloped until they were discovered by a local historian, John Maloof, in 2007. Following her death, her work began to receive critical acclaim. Her name is Vivian Maier. Passionate street photographer.
