Absolute adore this purple painted chalkboard wall in the children’s room inside this apartment in Norway. Hilde Kaafjord and Morten Nyheim Larsen’s home was originally built in the 1800s. Inside is a mixture of style, you’ll notice some of the classic ceiling molding and wall finishes were retained, plus some shabby chic furniture and off-the-wall finds.
Picture above: Really worth noting is this old door converted to a beautiful dining table.
Picture above: The rough concrete finish spiced up this kitchen wall.
Picture above: Ukens meny means week’s menu in Norwegian. Chalkboard idea beside fridge? Always a great idea. Double check with ease missing ingredients for your planned recipe.
Picture above: Almost forgot to note the dark colored wooden high chair at the end of the dining table. It’s a good place to put it.
As you can see, the purple theme flows in every room in this home. Not over-the-top, just right.
