Architect Marco Casagrande of Casagrande Laboratory designed the Apelle House located in Karjaa, Finland.

Completed in 2013, this 140 square meter residence is reminiscent of a ‘stranded boat’ made of wood and black bricks.

House Apelle was designed as part of nature. The architecture of the house serves as a ‘mediator between modern man and nature’.
