Italian architecture firm Studio Ata have designed the renovation of this minimalist Home Studio Apartment located in Via Bertola, Italy that was completed in 2007.
Description by Studio Ata:
In the heart of Turin, just a short walk from Piazza Castello, in a building 800, there was a flat characterized by a thick wall plug that bisected the space.
From the compositional point of view, the service rooms were backing the structural heart of the apartment and thought of as a kind of “thickening” of the bearing wall, freeing the day room and the sleeping area to the east to the west.
