Strathclyde University architecture students Angus Ritchie and Daniel Tyler designed and constructed ‘The Lookout’, a cubic and reflective structure located at the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park in Scotland. The architects used hard wood and birch ply to create the nature-viewing box while mirrored stainless steel on its exterior was used to achieve the ‘invisible effect’. Two benches are placed inside the cabin wherein visitors can choose from a single or double seats to enjoy the view of the park and be closer to nature.
