The late French architect  Charlotte Perriand designed the La Maison au Bord de l’Eau (House by the Water), a functional prefab home designed in the 1930s.

For decades, this one of Perriand’s unfinished beach house projects until recently when Louis Vuitton stepped in to finally complete it.
