17 things no one probably have told you yet (comics by alex noriega)

Mozambique based illustrator Alex Noriega loves drawing, reading and drawing even more. Alex was born and raised in Barcelona, went to Llotja, an art and illustration school also in Barcelona. After finishing school, he worked odd jobs and eventually landed a job as an illustrator in a fashion company. Finally, the call to blog got to him. He says,

At some point in 2010 I was going through a crisis due to some issues at work, so I decided to start this blog as a way of trying to find what I was doing wrong. I wanted to put on paper all that I had learned in life as simple as possible and try to see if what was happening around me made sense. It didn´t.

Now I don´t work in fashion anymore. I'm actually working on a graphic novel about what happened in that weird crisis. It's going to be called "Anosmic".

This is great! Though I do disagree with no one granting your wishes (God?)... I love the laziness reference! Anyways, I'll be sharing it this week on my blog, so feel free to drop by and check it out!

I strongly disagree with the "truth" pic. People who tell you what they think when you're not asking them may be jerks, but when I ask somebody a straight question I want a straight answer. And I offer no less myself.

The last pic is hypocritical. If you are an arrogant bastard then that's who you are. Try being something else and you're lying both to yourself and to others. We all pay the price for who we are anyway.

Others are more or less okay :-)
