Angela Sayadian has not received any gifts yet
Have just aded before and after pictures of the beams in the finca. As they were before in just wooden beams and with twigs, hay and bamboo in between with clay, and ancient tiles and cement on top. This is fine in rooms that were just for storage or keeping animals in, but in a bedroom or dining room, small pieces of hay, clay, or animals can fall on you and this can be disconcerting. So in the rooms as we work on them, we are getting the ceilings plastered and it is really a joy to see the changes it is making. The ceilings are quite low and the white of the plaster is making the ceilings feel higher. The beams now have to be rubbed down, sanded and rubbed with linseed oil to bring out the graining. Now the temperature is rising we can start to get down to this work at weekends.
